Meditations on "Truth"

It’s amazing that after all the chaos and heartbreak of our self-absorbed life in addiction that we could be so changed that we now passionately love God and His laws.

From cover to cover the Bible is filled with wisdom and good direction for our lives.

Sometimes, when it particularly suits us, we make excuses for not telling the truth.

Jesus is risen from the dead! Because He lives, we also shall live.

God was reaching out in love to each of us long before we knew Him.

If we hold something in our hand and then let go of it, it will drop to the ground.

At various times in recovery, especially early on, we feel vulnerable.

An essential part of our life with God in recovery is recognizing what is harmful and decaying and what is healthy and returning to life after a time of dormancy.
