Step 3: We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

As we come into recovery programs we listen to and are supported by the experience, strength, and hope that others share.

There are many forces and circumstances in life that we cannot manage on our own.

Death wrapped its ropes around me; the terrors of the grave overtook me.

He (God) gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

He (God) sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have.

It's Election Day in Canada on Monday, October 19. We've had the longest campaign in many decades, heard lots of sound clips and watched debates, political ads, and panels as they discussed the platforms of the various parties and the statements of the leaders.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

The Bible tells us that our thoughts reveal our true person.

If we are not thinking in accordance with the principles of God’s word, then our own foolish thoughts will have a negative effect on our physical and emotional well-being.

In a general sense, our emotions are a product of our thought life.
