One of the things many of us missed while growing up, and which probably had something to do with our journey into addictive and destructive lifestyles, was tenderness.

As we choose for recovery from our former dependencies, we hear talk about God.

Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.
